Bloomberg Philanthropies has awarded NIIF a three-year grant to support the startup and operation of the new fund. The funding will serve to offset staffing, fund management and other operating costs, and enable NIIF to build equity to support future investment activities in Baltimore neighborhoods.
“The Neighborhood Impact Investment Fund represents a bold and innovative commitment by the City of Baltimore to solve the longstanding challenge of delivering capital to neighborhoods that have been historically overlooked. We are pleased to support this effort and partner with the City to meet this important challenge” said Jim Anderson
